Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as a member of the band One Direction. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There together with his three classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in 2010. Even though he had always had an interest in the music world, despite his passion for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and physical therapist. In the past, he was employed part-time in a bakery in his city with the aim of helping financially at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. This is why his group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which helped them become one of the top contenders for winning the contest. They were however in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay $2 million to One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
