Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on by using her creative and imaginative imagination. Songs were written by her before she could write and read. The first guitar she received was gifted by her mother when she was eighteen. She started singing at the Knoxville Tenn station by the age of eleven. That following year, she made her first album with Gold Band Records an independent small-scale label. In high school, she made her name in the local community, yet she yearned for having a bigger stage. After graduating from the high school in 1964, she immediately moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. In the year 1967, Porter Wagoner was looking for a new girl singer for his television show that was syndicated. Parton accepted the job and in the year 1967, she signed to RCA Records in 1968 and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. She left Wagoner's show, however, in 1974 due to her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene exceeded the sales of their joint albums. Parton's song, I Will Never Be Loved by You (for Wagoner), hit the No. #1 spot following their split. #1 for the first time in 1974.
